Only 15 minutes drive from Lake Vassivière and at the beginning of the Plateau of Millevaches, Bernard welcomes you to his old farm near the Tapestries d'AUBUSSON. Here you will find several archeological sites both Roman and Gallic, many Romance churches and gathering's of mushrooms. Excursions on GR4 and road to Templiers. It is in the country of Martin Nadaud, mason creusois that Bernard opened his house from the beginning of last century.

We are two active retired persons who will warmly welcome you in this comfortable house whose ancient character has been preserved for your pleasure. Come for a full stay or just a stopover and we will do our best to provide you the rest you need and a very good souvenir of your stay at La Courtepointe.

This country cottage in the woods at the entrance of the Farges hamlet, offers its guests friendly rooms - peaceful nights, rural specialities for breakfast, and all possible information about the Limousin and Ventadour. The medieval fortress was where the first famous troubadours were born and bred.

All our accommodation is situated on the first floor of our Farmhouse (Grange). Due to the higher level on the backside of the Farmhouse, all accommodation is accessible at same level, so no stairs etc. The Farmhouse in which you will find our accommodation is situated on the hill side of a small vilage which gives you great views over the surroundings. The Farmhouse has recently been restored and re-furnished with lots of taste. Our restaurant which is situated downstairs in the same Farmhouse is very cosy with a bar and fireplace. You will enjoy yourselves at our domain as well in Summer as during Wintertime. Of course we have a special place reserved for the kids, with games, puzzles and pencils and we are open whole year around.

In the heart of the Creusoise countryside, come to discover within a peaceful framework "La VERGNOLLE". Nelly and Philippe welcome you in a pleasant residence, where four nice rooms refined and of a great comfort, all independent of the main house, await you. Side counts, with the breakfast you will taste our home made jams and the evening, with the table of hosts you will taste the products of soil (poultry's from the garden, Limousine meat from the firm neighbour…) and some foreign specialties.

You will discover by borrowing walking trails of the country, the splendid valley of small Creuse and its quality surrounding. Including: Walking, horse riding, VTT, swimming, fishing, angling and visits of our various historic and natural sites. We adhered to a charter quality in the good comfort of our establishment, the quality of our table and the charm of our environment. We are referred in the guide of "Gîtes de France".
